Booking is very simple, it's part of the app and website and you book your car and enter your hotel or destination. Each adult is entitled to their own car and for larger groups mini vans are available.
For our trip, which was the morning flight arriving 08:00 into Dubai we booked a single car for us both, allowing for 2 large and a medium suitcase plus hand luggage each.
After we had collected our luggage we passed customs and then started to clear the airport. Following the signs we saw the clearly marked 'Chaffeur Drive Service' area and entered it. There was a huge theme-park style snake ready for hordes of passengers, but it was quiet enough for us to walk straight to the front, present ourselves and be given a slip of paper which we had to then take outside.
We towed our suitcases to the car park area another minute's walk away and surrended our slip of paper; in exchange we were walked to a black e-class Mercedes, our suitcases were loaded into the back whilst we settled into the front and off we went.
We felt the journey was a little less sedate than the chaffeur to Manchester airport but that reflects the driving style out there, in which they drive to what they think impresses Western passengers. It was about a 70 minute drive to our Abu Dhabi hotel from Dubai airport, during which we saw some of Dubai's highlights and whilst watching everything go passed I sorted out some UAE mobile data - well I'd been without internet for a while.
